This bag was a gift given to Captain James H. Cook from He Dog Kicking Bear and Short Bull. Inside the medicine bag was a Colt derringer 41 caliber. The bag was purchased from a dealer in St. Joseph Missouri, who said he purchased it from an estate sale in the midwest. The family had owned it for a long time. Sold
