A unique pistol with 3-inch long 4-barrels and large .42 caliber. Pistol has a lever on the right side. You can turn it to the left to shoot the top barrels and right to shoot the bottom barrels. It has double set triggers. There are no maker marks or import stamps. It was made in America circa 1860’s. A real good chance it was carried by a Confederate soldier since the Union weapons were heavily maker stamped. When cocked back you have to push the triggers forward for it to stay cocked. It may have been a safety feature for this gun. When cocking back the springs are very strong. This is a really cool pistol. $5750

This is an extremely rare Confederate rifle made from 1862-1863 by the firm of Read and Watson in Danville, Virginia, by altering a .52 caliber Hall M1819 breechloading rifle to a percussion muzzle-loader. Virginia had acquired 1,000 of these rifles from 1836 to 1838 (and an equal number of carbines) from the U.S. government under the terms of the 1808 militia act. Existing payment vouchers from May 1862 to September 1863 show the state paid Read and Watson for converting roughly 900-1,000 Halls. Most were apparently the rifles. $7995

LOUISIANA TIGERS CONFEDERATE BUCKLE.
The Louisiana Tigers was a name given to a battalion of soldiers from the state of Louisiana who served with the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. Instead of wearing the standard gray jackets associated with the Confederate Army, the Louisiana Tigers were known for their colorful uniforms comprised of bright red shirts, billowing pantaloons made of blue and white striped fabric, red fezzes with blue tassels, and sometimes blue jackets with red embroidery. This clothing was influenced by the Turkish Zouave uniforms, a nickname often used when referring to the Louisiana Tigers. P.O.R
