VERY RARE V.R. GEO.WOSTENHOLM & SON WASHINGTON WORKS SHIFFIELD CLAIM SHELL.Only a handful known to exist with the V.R. stamp. The reign of Victoria. Wheather the fad for monarch stamps had faded or cutlers just didn’t feel right producing masculine items dedicated to the queen, the number of Bowie knives produced with VR stamps are very small. Another rarity to this knife is the absents of I*XL stamp. This knife could have been made for the Queen herself. Whether it was or not this is a very rare Geo.
