Spurs feature a dual rowel system that has a pivoting shank with a clover rowel on one end and a 6-point rowel on the other. Spurs are in good condition. $1475

NICK EGGENHOFER WESTERN OIL ON BOARD.

Nick Eggenhofer (1897-1985) born in southern Bavaria, Germany. After attending Buffalo Bill Cody Wild West Show, he fell in love with the American West. Eggenhofer spent many years as an illustrator in New York City. This painting illustrates a cowboy and a native American capturing and about to dispatch a grizzly bear. Oil on board measures 15” x 11”. Frame 21”x 17”. Excellent condition. $18,750

J.O. BASS TULIA TEXAS Spurs are in good condition. In 1905 Bass and his wife moved to nearby Tulia Texas where he would live and work until the end of his life. Bass did a lot of custom order work for the farmers and ranchers.  The right spur is stamped MADE BY J.O. BASS TULIA TEX. Beautiful set of Spurs. P.O.R

CITIZENS OF LAMAR MISSOURI WYATT EARP EAGLE STICK PIN.

This Eagle stick pin was given to Marshal Wyatt Earp from the Citizens of Lamar Missouri. In spring 1868, the Earps moved east to Lamar Missouri, where Wyatt’s father Nicholas became the local constable. Wyatt joined the family the next year. Nicholas resigned as constable on November 17, 1869 to become justice of the peace, and Wyatt was appointed constable in his place. P.O.R

Rare antique Garcia silver inlaid spurs with horse shoe and shield having U.S.A above it. Spurs are in good condition and have the original chains. $4750

DOCUMENTED LITTLE BIG HORN 7TH CAV. SCOUT BOWIE KNIFE…COA….IDENTIFIED TO RUNNING WOLF.

Rare Indian Scout bowie knife with heavy brass handle inscription US 7TH CAV. 1876. On the other side of handle says US. This knife was issued to Running Wolf 7th Cavalry Scout. On the handle it is written in togia Running Wolf. He was an Arikara Indian born at Fort Clark village in the winter of 1856. Running Wolf was 20 years old when he enlisted in the 7th Cavalry scouting unit in April 1876. He joined as a private and enlisted at Fort Lincoln with six other men; Young Hawk, Horn In The Front, Tall Bear, Foolish Bear, Red Foolish Bear and charging Bear. The Arikara scouts were each issued a badge a knife a rifle and a revolver. This is a very rare documented Little Big Horn issued 7th Cav. knife. COA Wendell Grangaard. p.o.r
